PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the run-out of a ball screw shaft by a lateral force in an electromagnetic shock absorber. SOLUTION: In this electromagnetic shock absorber 10, the end part of the ball screw shaft 40 projected to the inside of a dumper case 11 through a ball screw nut 30 is supported by a bearing 80.
