PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a game machine which increases the hope of a game player by enabling a performance using reels and shutters to be executed. SOLUTION: This game machine 100 is equipped with four lines of reels 106a to 106d which are arranged in a cabinet 102, and can variably display a plurality of symbols required for a game, a display window 108 having a size enough to make four lines of the reels visible, and a masking plate (shutter) 110 which is arranged on both or either one of the right and left end sections of the display window, and is movable in parallel. Four lines of the reels are constituted to be integrally reciprocatable in the width direction of the cabinet. Four lines of the reels move based on conditions which are pre-designated, and at least one line of the reels located on either one of the right and left sides is arranged on the outside of the display window. Also, the shutter 110 is constituted to cover the end section of the display window on the opposite side from the direction in which the reels have moved, by moving in response to the movement of the reels.
