<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collagen-containing food composition composed of powdery form or granular form and being edible without using water. <P>SOLUTION: The food composition is obtained by adding (1) collagen, (2) guar gum and (3) methylcellulose to a food composition and processing the mixture into granules. It is preferable that the collagen has an average molecular weight of ≤10,000 and granules have a size passing through a 20-100 mesh screen and retained on a 100-200 mesh screen, and the collagen is taken in order to beautify the skin.
