OPTICAL UNIT CONSISTING OF CORE AND CLAD, AS WELL AS EXPOSURE DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical unit consisting of cores and clads with excellent stability and a high light-emitting volume, as well as an exposure device and an image forming device, in a light source with a combination of a light-emitting element and the optical unit.

SOLUTION: The optical unit 1 comprises a clad 1b, and a plurality of cores 1a optically separated by the clad 1b and arrayed nearly in parallel. Also provided are the light source smoothing the surface of the optical unit 1 with excellent stability and a large light-emitting volume, and the image forming device using the same.
