PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling guide unit easy in control of lubricating oil, and reducing sliding resistance to rolling bodies, by enhancing a degree of freedom of design. SOLUTION: This rolling guide unit has a cylindrical member 2 slidingly penetrated through a rail 1, track passages (a and a) constituted in cooperation with the cylindrical member 2 and the rail 1, circulating passages (b and b) formed in the cylindrical member 2 and communicating both ends of the track passages (a and a) via direction changing recessed parts 18 and 18, and a plurality of rolling bodies 19 arranged in the circulating passages (b and b) and the track passages (a and a); and circulates the rolling bodies 19 in the circulating passages (b and b) and the track passages (a and a) in response to the relative movement of the rail 1 and the cylindrical member 2; and has incorporation holes 20 and 20 formed in the cylindrical member 2, oil retaining members 21 and 21 incorporated into the incorporation holes 20 and 20, and oil supply members 23 and 23 arranged along a contact surface of the rolling bodies 19 in the track passages (a and a) or the circulating passages (b and b); and is characterized in that the oil supply members 23 and 23 are contacted with the oil retaining members 21 and 21.
