A vibration controller (10A) comprises a plate spring (30) connected at one end thereof to one vibration-direction end of a Stirling freezer (100) serving as a reciprocating motion device, a balance mass (20)connected to the other end of the plate spring (30), and an attenuator (40) including an attenuating body (42) which is connected to the balance mass (20) and which vibrates in phase with the balance mass (20). Such arrangement makes it possible to produce a small-sized, high performance and inexpensive vibration controller including an elastic body and an attenuator.
