PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve residual stress by efficiently heating a weld zone and heat-affected zone of T-piping by a laser beam.

SOLUTION: The residual stress is relieved by heating the weld zone of the T-piping 50 by irradiating a laser beam emitted from a laser head 10. At that time, the position of the laser head 10 in the direction ofθis adjusted with a rotary traveling cart 3 traveling along ring rails 2. The position of the laser head 10 in the direction of Z is adjusted by sliding a vertical slide 4. The position of the laser head 10 in the direction of L is adjusted by sliding a radial slide 5. Theαdirection of the laser head 10 is adjusted by sliding a circular arc piece slide 7 along the circular arc piece. Theβdirection of the laser head 10 is adjusted by turning a laser head supporting piece 9. The position of the laser head 10 in the direction ofγis adjusted by oscillation.
