<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a communication enterpriser automatically on preset conditions based on the address of a destination communication terminal inputted at the time of calling, and to communicate media according to the communication protocol of a server of the selected communication enterpriser. <P>SOLUTION: The media communication apparatus comprises a means (automatic selecting section 38) for selecting a communication enterpriser automatically on preset conditions based on the address of a destination communication terminal inputted at the time of calling, and a communication system for determining the communication protocol of a server of the selected communication enterpriser and communicating media according to that communication protocol.
