<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas supply device and a gas supply method capable of filling a gas in a short time while suppressing a maximum ultimate temperature of an on-vehicle tank. <P>SOLUTION: This gas supply device 1 has a gas storage unit 11, and a dispenser 12 for supplying a gas stored in the gas storage unit 11 to the on-vehicle tank 4. This gas supply device 1 further comprises a flow rate control valve 33 mounted in a gas flow channel in the dispenser 12, and a control device 36 for controlling an opening of the flow rate control valve 33. The control device 36 executes low-speed supply in such a state that the flow rate control valve 33 is kept in a first opening at the initial time of supply to the on-vehicle tank 4, and then executes rapid supply by switching the flow rate control valve 33 to a second opening larger than the first opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
