PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of using the parts such as a sensor housing for a torque sensor in common between the different specifications, and easily being assembled. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device 1 is equipped with a wire harness assembly 11 for connecting a circuit board 10a of an ECU10 and the torque sensor 7. The wire harness assembly 11 comprises a wire bundle 12 connecting the torque sensor 7 to the circuit board 10a, and is provided with a circuit board 13 for the sensor at the middle part in the longitudinal direction of the wire bundle 12. The wire bundle 12 comprises a first wire bundle 15 and a second wire bundle 16, and these wire bundles and the circuit board 13 for the sensor are covered with a common covering part 14. Since the circuit board 13 for the sensor is previously assembled in the wire harness assembly 11, it is easily assembled without assembling in a sensor housing B like before, and the sensor housing 9B can be used in common.
