PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a transmission path and to accurately demodulate a signal with a receiving device. SOLUTION: In a transmission system between a transmitter using first and second antennas to carry out transmission and a receiver using a plurality of reception antennas for receiving the signal, a pilot signal transmitted from the first transmission antenna is orthogonal to a pilot signal transmitted from the second transmission antenna.
