pi-ELECTRON CONJUGATED ORGANIC SILANE COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain aπ-electron conjugated organic silane compound producible by a simple production method, easily crystallizable to form an organic thin film adsorbed firmly to a substrate surface to prevent physical peeling of the film, and having high orderiness, crystallinity and electrical conductivity, and provide a method for the synthesis of the compound. SOLUTION: Theπ-electron conjugated organic silane compound is expressed by R1-SiX1X2X3(R1is an organic group containing a monocyclic heterocyclic unit having an atom formingσ*-π*conjugation system; and X1to X3are each a group giving a hydroxyl group by hydrolysis). The method for the synthesis of theπ-electron conjugated organic silane compound comprises the reaction of a compound expressed by R1-Li (R1is same as defined above) or a compound expressed by R1-MgX5(R1is same as defined above; and X5is a halogen atom) with a compound expressed by X4-SiX1X2X3(X1to X3are each same as defined above; and X4is hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a lower alkoxy).
