PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable receiving various transmission signals with different electric characteristics or one kind of unknown transmission signal without preparing multiple hardware circuits regarding a transmission signal discrimination device to automatically discriminate a transmission protocol of a required transmission signal in a microcomputer development device to develop a logic of a microcomputer for being built-in, and aim at miniaturization of the device and improvement of user-friendliness. SOLUTION: This device is provided with dynamic range regulation means 1 to adjust a dynamic range of a gain or an offset level, or the like of inputted transmission signal, signal threshold regulation means 2 to adjust a threshold of signal level of transmission signal, transmission speed decision means 3 to decide transmission speed of transmission signal, and transmission protocol discrimination means 4 to select a well-known transmission protocol and distinct a transmission protocol which agrees with the transmission signal.
