<p>The wind barrier has a wind bulkhead (12) joined to a cover (16) by joints (32) and pivotable from an inoperative position resting on the cover to an operating position above the belt line (14) of the vehicle body in which the wind bulkhead extends transversely to the cover. A drive is provided, with which the wind bulkhead can be moved at least from the inoperative position into the operating position.</p>
