The invention relates to a method for selective production of polymorph of 2-(3-cyano-4-isobutyloxyphenyl)-4-methyl-5-thiazolecarboxylic acid and to a method for the preparation of its different polymorphs, including crystallization, determined from specific temperature and the composition of a mixed solvent of methanol and water, as well as to polymorphs produced by this method. The invention also relates to a method for the preparation of the other polymorphs or of amorphous compounds by drying of a specific polymorph at reduced pressure and heating, as well as to the other polymorphs or amorphous compounds produced by this method. |
