<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage and control system capable of performing the article control of a lost property or the like by using an RFID tag, and allowing an owner (a user) for the lost property to acquired lost property storage information and to select a receiving means. <P>SOLUTION: Information on an RFID tag affixed to a lost property is controlled by the database, and information on the affixed RFID tag is read by a lost property control center at which the lost property is stored, and recorded in the database.
