PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to provide a simple system constitution, and enable to carry out electricity storage and heat storage efficiently. SOLUTION: In a method of electricity storage and heat storage wherein a storage battery A of electrolytic solution circulation type in which an electricity from an electricity supply system C is charged and discharged to an electricity demand system D has been installed between the electricity supply system C and the electricity demand system D, and is charged and discharged while the electrolytic solution 1 is circulated over its storage tank 2 and a battery cell 4, and wherein the heat storage is carried out by supplying heat to the electrolytic solution 1, while the storage tank 2 is exclusively used as the electricity storage tank at the time of charge and discharge, it is exclusively used as the heat storage tank at the time of heat storage.
