<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover device capable of flexibly coping with a variation in the size of a crime preventive lens. <P>SOLUTION: This cover device 1A of the first embodiment is composed of a cover 1a for covering a peep hole 11A of an indoor side end part 10A of the crime preventive lens A, and an installation frame 2a for installing this cover 1a in the indoor side end part 10A; and is installed on the crime preventive lens A for, for example, one door 3A. The installation frame 2a is composed of a press-fitting piece 20a press-fittable to the outer periphery of the indoor side end part 10A, and an adjusting part 21a for adjusting press-fitting force of this press-fitting piece 20a.
