The device has two laser pointers (14, 15, 16) which emit light fans (140, 150, 160) in a visible wave length range, where the pointers are arranged such that an axis of parallel lights of each pointer lies in a plane perpendicular to a distance to be marked. Each pointer is pivoted around a source of the light fans by a leaf spring. An unfixed end of the spring is adjustably placed in a direction perpendicular to the axis.
