PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of obtaining an image of high definition up to the peripheral part by reducing optical loss and suppressing occurrence of stray light in each imaging unit. SOLUTION: A solid state image sensor 10 comprises a large number of pixels 11 having photoelectric transfer function, and a large number of pixel lenses 13 provided in one to one correspondence with the pixels 11. A microlens array 20 comprises a plurality of microlenses 21. One microlens 21, a plurality of pixels 11, and a plurality of pixel lenses 13 constitute one imaging unit 40, and the microlens 21 forms an object image on a plurality of corresponding pixels 11 for each imaging unit 40. In each imaging unit 40, optical axis of each pixel lens 13 is shifted from the center line of a corresponding pixel 10 in the direction approaching the optical axis of the microlens 21.
