The interferometer has an optical fiber for emission of measuring light and for receiving reflection of light. A reflection unit (3) has a reflecting surface between fixed and adjustable positions and lies opposite to one end of the fiber. A reflection identification pattern is measured during displacement of the fiber end by light emitted from the fiber or another fiber that is synchronously adjusted with the former fiber.
