摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bead and a microbe detection method for detecting a microbe more easily with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: Salmonella 21 is captured by using the magnetic bead (polymyxin B immobilized magnetic bead 31) on which polymyxin B to be specifically reacted with lipo-polysaccaride which is a constituent of a cell cortex of the Salmonella 21 is immobilized. Then, the polymyxin B immobilized magnetic bead 31 is separated by a magnet 25 for magnetic bead separation, and a biotin-labeled antibody 32 is bonded to the Salmonella 21 captured by the separated polymyxin B immobilized magnetic bead 31, and an avidin-luciferase complex 33 is bonded thereto.
