<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an appropriate driver can be provided to a relevant client PC when printing of a print file accepted through an incorporated web server fails, and to provide its driver providing method. <P>SOLUTION: When a print file accepted at a web server processing section 12 from the web browser 21-1 of a client PC2-1 is a kind of file uninterpretable at a PDL processing section 13, the web server processing section 12 provides the web browser 21-1 with an information page for acquiring an appropriate driver.
