PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a steel sheet decorative material constituted so as not to cause trouble such that the emboss of a surface becomes shallow and gentle and the adhesion strength between the layers of a decorative sheet is lowered though employing a conventional method for activating an adhesive layer by heat when the decorative sheet is laminated on a steel sheet base material, using the decorative sheet containing a non-vinyl chloride type thermoplastic resin as a main material, and the steel sheet decorative material. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the steel sheet decorative material obtained by laminating at least the decorative sheet 5 containing the non-vinyl chloride type thermoplastic resin as the main material on the steel sheet base material 2, the decorative sheet is laminated on the steel sheet base material through the adhesive layer 13 activated by heating to form a decorative sheet laminate and, after this decorative sheet laminate is cooled, a transparent polyolefin sheet 10 is further laminated on the upper decorative sheet of the laminate by dry lamination.
