PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring cover supporting device having a simple structure to to support a wiring cover without reduce usage region on a top and having high designability. SOLUTION: The wiring cover supporting device has an opening A for a wiring duct between the rear ends 1c and 1c of top plates of desks 1 and 1 disposed back to back in line and a pair of receptacles 21 and 21 spaced apart right and left in the opening A and stretched between the top plates 1 and 1, and supports both ends of the wiring cover 31 for covering the opening A with the receptacles 21 and 21. The receptacle 21 includes a first receiving portion 22 having the upper surface 22a substantially flush with the upper surface 1a of the top plate 1 and positioned in a direction orthogonal to the rear end edge 1c of the top plate 1, and a second receptacle portion stepped down to the inside of the first receptacle 22, and the upper surfaces 32a, 33a, and 34a of the wiring cover 31 are substantially flush with the upper surface 1a of the top plate 1 in a state where the end of the wiring cover 31 is mounted on the second receptacle.
