PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire model preparing method for realizing the shortening of the preparation time of a tire model and a calculation time in arithmetic processing while maintaining analytic precision at the time of analyzing tire characteristics by using a tire model. SOLUTION: A tire body part model including at least code reinforcing materials, rubber members and bead cores, a detail tread part model obtained by modeling a tread pattern in detail with perimeter at a predetermined rate to the circumferential length of a tire and a simple tread part model obtained by easily modeling the tread pattern are prepared. Then, the detail tread part model and the simple tread part model are connected so that a tread pattern part model with the perimeter of the circumferential length of the tire can be prepared, and the tire body part model and the tread pattern part model are connected so that a tire model can be prepared. Furthermore, material constants to be applied to the simple thread part model are corrected by using physical quantity including mass and rigidity, and applied to the simple thread part model.
