PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom of a mounting position of a vehicle side receiver, and to surely receive radio waves transmitted by a tire side transmitter by a vehicle side receiver, even if the position of the tire side transmitter is changed by rotation of a tire. SOLUTION: A wheel 5 provided with the tire is provided with a wheel side transceiver 2 provided with a sensor part 21 for outputting a detection signal according to air pressure of the tire and a control part 23 for transmitting the detection signal. On a vehicle body 7 side, a signal transmission means 4 for transmitting prescribed radio waves to the wheel side transceiver 2, signal reception means 3 and 4 for receiving the detection signal from the wheel side transceiver 2, and a vehicle body side control device 3 for determining air pressure of the tire based on the detection signal received via the signal reception means 3 and 4 are provided. The control part 23 of the wheel side transceiver 2 sets transmission timing of the detection signal based on reception intensity of the prescribed radio waves transmitted from the signal transmission means 4 to transmit the detection signal to the signal reception means 3 and 4.
