<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, simply and quickly prepare a sample solution containing a nucleic acid in good reproducibility and excellent in automation adaptability, in a method for separating and purifying the nucleic acid by adsorbing the nucleic acid in the sample solution containing the nucleic acid with a nucleic acid-adsorptive porous membrane, subsequently desorbing the nucleic acid through washing and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The method for extracting the nucleic acid is to inject the nucleic acid-containing sample solution into a nucleic acid extraction cartridge and adsorb the nucleic acid in the sample solution by pressure difference, subsequently dispense a washing solution into the nucleic acid extraction cartridge and remove impurities by pressure difference, then dispense the recovered solution into the nucleic acid extraction cartridge, separate the nucleic acid adsorbed to the filter material by pressure difference and recover the nucleic acid together with the recovered solution. In the method, at least either one of the time for leaving the washing solution after dispensing and the time for leaving the recovered solution after dispensing is controlled to be predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
