PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation method capable of measuring temperature distribution in the measurement object such as a biological phantom, electric insulation member or its simulated body with a noninvasive method; and to provide a device and an observation object suitable for observation of temperature distribution. SOLUTION: The observation object provided with a three dimensional shape, and miniature capsules containing temperature sensitive liquid crystals are distributed in the transparent matrix is irradiated with a slit light.
