PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a mechanism small-sized and simple by performing paper compression with constant pressure and thereby to attain low cost in a paper compressing apparatus of a document shredder apparatus. SOLUTION: In order to detect and control paper compressing pressure, a pressure wall is made movable and a sensor detects the pressure to control the position. Thereby excessive pressure growth in a compressing chamber is prevented and structure is made small-sized and simple. Further a moving mechanism of the pressure wall is also used to take out a paper mass. Thus a paper mass taking out mechanism can be excluded to attain simplification of the apparatus.
