Height-adjustable mounting is provided for cased power supply modules in the 19 inch rack of a mains supply cabinet. The basic cased module, a power distribution housing, is also claimed. It is in sheet metal for screening, and has a removable cover. The guide rails have load-bearing attachment points at the ends, for screw-fastening to the rack. Various ancillary equipment is included: door switch and lighting, single or parallel main connections, general-, emergency- and uninterruptible power supplies, outlets for further power distribution units, plug sockets on the front, and a fan. Fuses are included for the fan, lighting and sockets.
