PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a decorative material wherein suede-like fine irregularities are formed on the surface using only a rubber and/or a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: A door opening seal 11 made of the rubber extruded from a nozzle is vulcanized, and a hollow seal part 16 is subsequently masked with a mask 17. Then, a sponge rubber layer 15, which is integrally formed on surfaces of an attachment part 13 with a U-shaped section and a lip part 14, is subjected to shot blasting with a shot blasting processor 5 to form a decorative part with a suede-like appearance.
