PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system capable of grasping the number of times of use of articles stored in a storage part. SOLUTION: Identification information on articles 2 stored in an RF tag of the articles 2 stored in a storage part 3a is repeatedly acquired through communication of a communication unit 5, identification information on the articles 2 not included in current identification information is extracted by comparing acquired identification information on the articles 2 with previously acquired identification information of the articles 2, and the number in the take-out number storage unit is counted up based on extracted identification information on the missing articles 2.
