摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve luminance saturation of phosphors and also improve light emitting luminance in attaining high resolution with a large screen size. SOLUTION: In a display panel having an alternate wiring structure in which two column wires 15-A1 and 15-A2 for display pixels in one column are alternately connected, a pulse of a scanning signal (row wiring selection voltage Vrow) is intermittently output twice for each row and delayed scanning is performed after a prescribed period. Moreover, as a modulation signal (column wiring driving voltage Vcol), by applying an odd matrix wire driving voltage to a column wire for an odd row of each column and by applying an even matrix wire driving voltage to the column wire for an even row of each column at the same time, the pixel on an odd line and the pixel on an even line are independently driven at the same time. Thereby, light emitting for each row is not continuous light emitting for a 2H period but the light emitting of a 1H period is performed twice with a prescribed interval (for example, a 2H period interval).
