PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component feeder capable of consistently vibrating a conveying rail. SOLUTION: A component feeder has a scooping plate 14 which is rocked in a storage part 13 under the drive of a stepping motor 4 to support and scoop components such as screws 40 stored therein, the components scooped by the scooping plate 14 are transferred on a conveying rail 17 at the transfer position, and the components are arrayed and conveyed by vibrating the conveying rail 17. The components transferred onto the conveying rail 17 in an improper posture are eliminated by an elimination member interlocked with the separation of the scooping plate 14 from the transfer position. When the stop signal of the motor 4 is input, the motor 4 is stopped after the scooping plate 14 reaches the position separate from the transfer position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
