PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently producing basic aluminum chloride powders comprising spherical bodies having the particle size of 45μm or less, and to provide the basic aluminum chloride powders produced thereby, an aerosol preparation and an aerosol antiperspirant. SOLUTION: The spherical basic aluminum chloride powder having the maximum particle size of 45μm or less is produced by using a four-fluids nozzle 1A which is provided with two gas passages 71A, 72A and also two liquid passages 81A, 82A and has an edge 5A at which the fluids ejected from the above passages are converged, and spraying and drying an aqueous solution containing the aluminum chloride as a main component. Thereby, the objective aluminum chloride powder can be produced even from an aqueous highly concentrated basic aluminum chloride solution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
