PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a binder resin that has excellent adhesiveness to various substrates, coatings, etc., and is advantageous in terms of environment. SOLUTION: The binder resin is a binder resin comprising a (meth)acrylic polymer essentially composed of carboxylic acid ester monomer units. The (meth)acrylic polymer is essentially composed of≥60 wt.% of a carboxylic acid ester monomer unit containing a 4-18C alkyl group and a carboxylic acid ester monomer unit containing an aminoalkyl group.
