<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a stable sliding load and prevent rattling in the direction of rotation, thereby making it possible to apply a preload with many degrees of design freedom from high to low rigidity for improved assembling properties. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical outer ring 20 is provided on the outer periphery of a female shaft 2. A plurality of elastic bodies 30 is interposed between the outer ring 20 and the female shaft 2. The elastic bodies 30 can thus apply the preload to a spherical body 7 and an axial protrusion 4 via the female shaft 2. That is, the female shaft 2 is deflected radially inward by a slot 2a during preloading and can thereby elastically press the spherical body 7 and the axial protrusion 4 against a male shaft 1 under the biasing force of the elastic bodies 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
