PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow transmission with good operation convenience even when a communication state is in a poor state by using a digital broadcast and by preparing electronic mail including data inputted from a user. SOLUTION: A cellular telephone 1 acquires mail data used for the electronic mail added to data for the digital broadcast, and prepares the electronic mail based on the mail data. A control section 20 determines whether or not the transmission of the electronic mail is in an available communication state through a radio section 30. When the available communication state is determined, the prepared electronic mail is transmitted. When an unavailable communication state is determined, the electronic mail is saved.
