PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-costed horizontal load absorbing device for a lifting jack device, which is of simple structure and facilitated in pump control thereof. SOLUTION: In the lifting jack device for lifting a deck 31, which is loaded with a heavy material, on a base 30 with a lifting jack 32, a pair of wires 34 fixed to the base 30 and the deck 31 in both ends thereof are stretched to cross each other in X-shape so that tensile force is generated in directions opposite to each other. A fixed sheave 35 and a movable sheave 36 are interposed in one of the wires 34, and a direction changing sheave 37, the fixed sheave 35 and the movable sheave 36 are interposed in the other wire 34. A tensile force giving jack 39 for generating tensile force opposite to a horizontal load of the deck 31 is connected to the movable sheave 36. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
