A masonry vegetation block of an ecological reinforced earth retaining wall and a construction method thereof are provided to quickly and completely afforest a bank, a cut ground, and a slope by integrating vegetation soil with an original ground filling unit of an H-type block body without breakage and completely fixing plants grown in the vegetation unit, and to adjust positions of plural connection holes in accumulating the blocks regardless of the slope shape or the inclined angle. A masonry vegetation block(100) of an ecological reinforced earth retaining wall comprises an H-type block body(110) formed with a body elongated longitudinally at both ends of the front and rear sides, a vegetation unit(120) at the front side with left and right parts broadened outward to grow plants, and an original ground filling unit(130) at the rear side to be filled with an original ground layer; a connection hole(140) penetrated through the upper surface and the lower surface of the H-type block body; a vegetation net combining groove formed on the lower surface of the block body to be combined with a zinc-plating steel wire vegetation net; and the zinc-plating steel wire vegetation net combined with the vegetation net combining groove to cover the whole side of the vegetation unit so as to support a vegetation mat adhered of vegetation soil and plant seeds filled in the vegetation unit. |
