<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage controller for generator in vehicle which can improve its fuel consumption more, by performing appropriate output voltage control geared to the operation state of a vehicle without dropping the capacity of a battery, until the battery capacity is settled at its full charge after start of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: This voltage controller is equipped with a battery 2, a generator 4, operation state detection means 7 and 8 which detect the operation state of a vehicle, a voltage control means 6 which controls the output voltage of the above generator 4, according to the operation state of the above vehicle, a current detection means 3 which detects the charge/discharge current of the above battery 2, and a full charge judging means S7 which judges whether the above battery 2 is roughly full charge or not. The first voltage control means 6 has the first mode control means which controls the voltage into the target voltage where the charge to the above battery 2 is possible when the above vehicle is decelerating, and controls the output voltage of the above generator 4 so that it may be lower than the above target voltage when the above vehicle is decelerating and that the above battery 2 may not discharge its electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
