PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved wiring fitting of a battery so as to carry out the work of screwing and fixing the wiring fitting to a power supplying terminal of the battery already installed in an engine room in an assembly line of an automobile. SOLUTION: The battery fitting comprises a fitting body 10 in which a wiring terminal 12 is fitted to an outer fitting cylinder 11 of an omega shape of a top view for fitting to the power supply terminal B of a rod shape of the battery, a conical cylinder 20 which is nearly an omega shape of a top view and of which the diameter becomes smaller toward the top, a nut 30 of which the outer circumference face is contacted sliding to the inner circumference face of the conical cylinder and contained in the conical cylinder in a rotation stop state, a cap 50 which has a trapezoidal cut-out 51 for clipping connecting parts 40, 40 for coupling and combining free ends of each set of the both cylinders and covers the conical cylinder 20, and a tightening bolt 60 which penetrates the top face and is screwed to the nut 30. As the bolt and nut are tightened, the outer fitting cylinder 11 is made to shrink in diameter. The tightening bolt side may be contained in the conical cylinder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
