<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent loss of information due to power interruption or increase of a hardware scale even in the case of evading a state where the comfort of operation is deteriorated when information required to be held is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A DVD player comprises a flash memory 14 including areas for holding information, which stores a plurality of pieces of information required to be held; an information managing means 12 for writing the changed information required to be held in the free area among the areas for the holding information without deleting the previously stored information required to be held when the information required to be held is changed; and an area restoring means 13 for reading the information required to be held, which is finally written in the area for the holding information by the information managing means 12, when the control delay of a control means 11 comes to be inconspicuous, writing the information to be held in a temporary storage means 15, deleting the area in the holding information area, and writing the information required to be held, which is written in the temporary storage means 15, in the area for the holding information after deletion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
