PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system presenting the information corresponding to a travel stage while estimating the stage of the stage automatically. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 of the navigation system 50 comprises a clock 12, a driving duration time measurement part 14 for measuring the driving duration time from the running start time, a traveling stage estimation part 16, and a presentation information control part 17. The traveling stage estimation part estimates the travel stage by comparing the driving duration time and the transition determination reference time, by selecting a first transition determination reference time and a second transition determination reference time from among the data of the first transition determination reference times from the beginning stage of the previously prepared travel to the middle stage and the second transition determination reference time from the middle stage to the final stage based on the running start time.
