PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object image distinction method, an object image distinction system, an image distinction program, a false detection distinction method, a false detection distinction system and a false detection distinction program, capable of distinguishing whether a distinction target object image is a target image or not, with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A reference axis is set in a prescribed position of the distinction target object image, the image is divided into two areas with the reference axis as a boundary, an image characteristic amount of each pixel constituting each the division area is calculated, a moment in each the pixel is calculated on the basis of a distance from the reference axis set in a reference axis setting step and the image characteristic amount of each the pixel, and it is decided whether the distinction target object image is the detection target image or not, on the basis of the calculated moment in each the pixel.
