PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable toilet which even a user having difficulty in moving about can comfortably use. SOLUTION: The portable toilet 1 comprises a first member 4 mainly composed of a base section 2 laid on an installation face for the portable toilet 1 and a supporting column 3 erected at the back side of the base section 2 and integrally formed with the base section 2 and a second member 8 composed of a toilet seat section 5 installed above the base section 2, a collecting section 6 provided in the base section 2 and integrally formed with the toilet seat section 5 and an installation part 7 set at right angles to the collecting section 6. Then, the base section 2 and the toilet seat section 5 are disposed with the distance between them increased toward the deeper side from the user. Furthermore, the supporting column 3 is provided with a hole 10 into which the user H insert user's hand to grab the column section when the user sits on the toilet seat section 5.
