<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cable with identification information in which an IC tag can be assembled easily. <P>SOLUTION: An IC chip 14 is pasted by an adhesive at a prescribed location on the outside of a cable body 12, a conductive material which becomes an antenna 16 of the IC chip 14 is adhered to the vicinity of the IC chip 14, a jointing part 18 is formed by pressurizing integrally the connecting part of the IC chip 14 and a part of the conductive material, and a protective cover 20 is pasted on the jointing part 18. The IC chip and the antenna 16 constitute an IC tag 24. Information such as a manufacture history, delivery control data, a recycle method of the cable body 12 is recorded in the IC chip 14.
