The assembly has a bowl (2) covering a cook top e.g. grills, and held in a frame (4). Two identical support parts (7, 7`) are engaged in peripheral openings (6, 6`) and are housed in two opposite sides of the frame. Ends of the support parts receive a cover cap (9). A lateral striker bar is fixed on an upper portion of each support part for performing a stop operation when the upper portions of the supports are engaged in the openings.
