<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set and confirm radio equipment, and to reduce the consumption of a battery accompanied with this. <P>SOLUTION: A radio master device 14 and a radio slave device 15 are respectively provided with a DIP switch 27 for setting and an LED 24 for confirmation. An electrode terminal 42 of a battery 30 and a connection terminal 41 for external equipment connection are connected and short-circuited by a short circuit line. A voltage from the battery 30 is applied to the connection terminal 41, and a driving signal is inputted to a microcomputer. The operations of a DIP switch 27 and an LED 24 are validated only within a fixed time. A DIP switch 27 is operated, and setting for radio communication or automatic meter-reading is operated, and LED display corresponding to radio communication status is executed. After the lapse of a fixed time, the operations of the DIP switch 27 and the LED 24 are invalidated, and the battery 30 is prevented from being consumed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
